V FOR VENDETTA Video Essay Explains Differences Between Comic and Movie

I don't know about you, but I still really like James McTeigue's film adaptation of Alan Moore's comic V For Vendetta. The Wachowskis wrote the screenplay and produced the 2005 movie, and while it's admittedly the only decent thing McTeigue's directed (sorry, Ninja Assassin and The Raven), it's full of quotable lines, memorable action sequences, and rich characters. Plus, Hugo Weaving's performance as V is fantastic, and it features some of Natalie Portman's best work.

I've never read Moore's comic, so Cinefix's new video essay explaining the differences between the comic and the film is right up my alley. V For Vendetta fans should carve out 14 minutes and check this out:

V for Vendetta is Alan Moore's graphic novel about anarchist V combating the fascist government in a dystopian UK. The film adaptation was the same... but different! So it's time for us to take a stab at uncovering all the differences between the graphic novel and film.
