Vin Diesel's THE LAST WITCH HUNTER Gets First Trailer and Poster
I can buy Vin Diesel as the macho leader of a band of drivers in the Fast & Furious movies, but I'm not so sure you can drop him into any movie genre and have an instant hit on your hands. Case in point: the new trailer and poster for The Last Witch Hunter (via MTV), in which Diesel plays the title character. The film is directed by Breck Eisner (The Crazies), and it also stars Rose Leslie (Ygritte from Game of Thrones), Elijah Wood, and Michael Caine. My only hope is that Diesel and Michael Caine became friends on set and Caine eventually ends up playing Jason Statham and Luke Evans' father in the Fast movies.
