Warner Bros. Wants to See More of Batman in BATMAN V SUPERMAN

We have an interesting rumor from Heroic Hollywood to share with you regarding Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This is the kind of thing that will make for a good discussion among geeky friends.

According to the report, Warner Bros. is "requesting more Batman be put into the movie and less Superman." Apparently Ben Affleck is so good as Batman that he is "blowing Henry Cavill's Superman right off the screen."

This sounds like planted hype to keep fans excited and talking about the movie while we wait another six months until it's released. Of course, since we do have six more months to go, that's plenty of time for Snyder to go in and shoot some more Batman stuff to throw into the film.

It's no secret that Batman has been more valuable to the studio than Superman over the years. It just doesn't make sense to me that the studio would compromise the story that Jesse Eisenberg has spoken very highly of to get more Batman in there. It seems like fans are excited enough as it is, but maybe they don't want fans walking out of the theaters saying, "Man, I wish there would have been more of Batman in that movie." Isn't that why WB is moving forward with a new standalone Batman film, and maybe even a trilogy?

It has been interesting to see this film transform from a Man of Steel sequel, to not a Man of Steel sequel, to a Batman movie. Well, if they want to throw more Batman in the film to make it better, you won't hear any complaints from me...unless the movie sucks because of it.

What do you think about this rumor regarding WB wanting to have more Batman and less Superman in the movie? It'd be kinda crazy if they really were actually trying to push Superman off to the side. I just expected the two heroes to have the same amount of screen time.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25th, 2016.
