Watch: Behind the Scenes of FURIOUS 7's Crazy Skydiving Car Sequence

I'm a huge Fast & Furious fan, so Furious 7 is one of my most anticipated movies of the year. I love the way the franchise has evolved over the years, and I'm very curious to see what Saw and The Conjuring director James Wan is going to bring to the table for the newest film in the series. We've seen from the trailers and TV spots that he's definitely trying to live up to the insane bar the franchise has set when it comes to crazy action sequences, and one of the highlights from the trailer was seeing Dom, Brian, and the gang skydive out of a plane in cars.

Universal has released a brand new behind the scenes featurette that shows exactly how this was accomplished, and I was astonished to find out that they used real cars and actually did these stunts for real instead of making them CGI. I just assumed there was no way to control something as huge and heavy as a car if you really dropped it out of a plane, but the stunt team figured it out, and I respect the movie even more than I already did for going that extra mile and finding a way to make the action feel as real as possible.
