Watch George Miller Direct Some Crazy Action Sequences in MAD MAX: FURY ROAD

The Playlist points out that there's a B-roll video that's popped up online that features 18 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage of George Miller directing some of the insane action scenes of Mad Max: Fury Road. The movie looks breathtaking, largely in part to the mostly practical stunts they did out in the Namibian desert. It's one thing to see those stunts presented in a trailer or in the actual movie, but it's an entirely different experience to see how it actually played out on set.

Watching guys swinging around on long poles as vehicles tear through the desert is much more visceral when you know there's real danger involved, and though I'm sure some of that will come across in the final film, it's different to watch it without the benefit of filters, color correction, and editing that come post-production. This is real life, and it's Miller's insane vision on full display.
