When Will We See the First Clip from CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR?

Before Marvel bowed out of San Diego Comic-Con, I thought we would see our first footage from Captain America: Civil War there. As it turns out, the first thing we see from it will happen shortly after.

SPOILERS ahead for those who don’t want to know. I personally don’t think this is a spoiler, but it’s better to warn you all so I don’t receive anymore death threats.

There will be a clip from Captain America: Civil War at the end of Ant-Man. There are two end-credit sequences, and one of those is a clip from Civil War

/Film asked Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige if this post-credits scene was actually a clip from the upcoming May 2016 Marvel movie, and he said,

“Yes, that is material shot for Civil War.“

They then followed up for some clarification and he responded,

“Yes, you will. It might be different takes, it might be different angles. Somebody brought up the comparison to the Thor tag at the end of Iron Man 2, which was material shot for the Thor film but we cut slightly differently.”

I included that Iron Man 2 post-credit sequence he mentioned below for you to watch. So there you have it! It’s also expected that we’ll see a much bigger preview of Civil War at D23 Expo 2015 in August.

The after credits scene of Marvel's Iron Man 2 (2010). Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) calls SHIELD in order to inform Thor's Hammer has been found.
