Will Chris Pine Be The Next GREEN LANTERN?
When Warner Bros. announced their DC Comics film lineup, it was confirmed that the studio plans on bringing Green Lantern back to the big screen. I really hope that they get it right next time around. Now, I like Ryan Reynolds in the role of Hal Jordan, but the script and story for the film just didn't hit the mark.
The studio is going to hire someone new to play the lead, and last month Latino Review's El Mayimbe said that he heard the studio had settled on a new actor to take on the role in the DC Cinematic Universe that they plan on building. He has now offered an update saying that Star Trek star Chris Pine could be the man up for the role of Hal Jordan in the movie:

Pine was actually in the running to play Jordan in the first Green Lantern movie, so it's not hard to believe that the studio would go back to him to see if he's interested in headlining the reboot.
If this rumor turns out to be true, I actually wouldn't mind seeing Pine in the role. In fact, I think he'd be great! What do you think about the possibility of Pine playing Green Lantern in the upcoming DC cinematic universe?
