WONDER WOMAN Set Video Gives Us a New Look at Themyscira
A new video from the set of Wonder Woman has surfaced, giving us a look at how Themyscira is being envisioned for the film. Director Patty Jenkins is currently in production on the film and shooting in Matera, Italy, which is where this video was shot. It gives us a look at the beautifully detailed sets and costumes that have been created for the film.
Themyscira is the place where Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) was raised and trained to be the badass Amazon warrior that she is. She was trained by her aunt, General Antiope (Robin Wright), and taught how to be a brave leader by her mother, Queen Hyppolyta (Connie Nielsen).
The movie also stars Chris Pine, Doutzen Kroes, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya, and Lucy Davis. Wonder Woman will hit theaters June 2, 2017.
