X-FILES Revival May Include a Sequel to Fan Favorite Episode "Home"
According to TV Line, the upcoming X-Files limited series could include a sequel to the classic season four episode "Home." This is one of the best episodes of the series, and a favorite among fans.
Just in case you need a little reminder, the episode follows Mulder and Scully as they venture out to a remote Pennsylvania town called Home, where the corpse of a deformed baby is found. During their investigation, they encounter a creepy and violent inbred clan who date all the way back to the Civil War.
Apparently, the sequel will be the second episode of the revival, and here is some evidence that is presented by the site. The episode will be called “Home Again,” and the writer of the original episode, Glen Morgan, has come on board to write and direct this new episode.
The report also digs a little further, pointing out that “Home Again” is scheduled to air on January 25, 2016, almost 20 years after the original episode, which first hit on October 11th, 1996.
That's not all; there are also some details on a character we'll see in the new episode they call "Band-Aid Nose Man."
Remember the freakish Peacock clan at the center of “Home”? Well, “Home Again” may out-Monster of the Week those inbred savages via “Band-Aid Nose Man.” Described as intimidating, odd, weary, creepy and immeasurably strong, Mr. Man is a powerful, violent and frightening “thought” come to life.
The return of The X-Files is getting more and more exciting every day! I couldn't be more happy to here that this is all happening. Are you excited about the prospect of seeing a sequel to "Home"?
