X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Coming in 2016!

Talk about your out-of-nowhere announcements. Bryan Singer announced today on twitter that a new X-Men movie will be coming to theaters May 27, 2016. It's subtitle? Apocalypse. That's right, X-Men: Apocalypse, the infamous X-Men villain will finally be coming to the big screen.

For those of you who don't know, Apocalypse is an ancient mutant that has a darwinist survival of the fittest point of view. He reigns in an alternate reality where he enacts his mutant tyranny with an iron fist.

This makes sense seeing as the classic Age of Apocalypse storyline stemmed from time travel and alternate realities which seems to be the major proponent in Days of Future Past

Days of Future Past isn't even out yet, but I am looking forward to both films. I really think they'll rectify the past mistakes in the X-Men cinematic franchise.

We will give you more information as this story develops.
