Young Han Solo Might Be Played by Alden Ehrenreich
Here's a bit of casting information that surprisingly popped up for Phil Lord and Chris Miller's Han Solo Star Wars standalone film. According to Deadline, Alden Ehrenreich has emerged as the frontrunner for the role that every young actor in Hollywood has been gunning for.
Ehrenreich played Hobie Doyle in the most recent Coen Bros. film, Hail, Ceasar! and he stole every scene that he was in. There's no doubt that the guy is a talented young actor, and if he actually ends up being cast in the role of Han Solo, I would completely support that decision because I think he would be great in the role.
The actor was one of three others who were narrowed down for the role a few weeks ago. The other two actors included Taron Egerton and Jack Reynor. All of these actors are solid talents, but out of the three Ehrenreich was my top choice.
