100+ Screenshots From The New CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Trailer and Commentary
I'm sure by now you've seen the new Captain America: Civil War trailer. I've watched it about 15 times already and went through it frame-by-frame because...well, why wouldn't I!? This trailer was completely badass! This movie is going to be freakin' incredible, and on top of that we finally got our first look at Spider-Man! A lot of fans don't seem very happy with the new look for Spider-Man, but as a long-time fan of the character, who grew up reading the comics, I freakin' love it! They gave him an awesome classic retro look that we have never seen before in the films, and he even has eye movement, which is so damn cool.
You can go through the collection of screenshots below. I included some commentary, too. Everything else is pretty easy to follow. Enjoy, and let us know what you think about some of the questions I raise!
I believe that the location above that's rising out of the ocean is kind of a prison constructed by Tony Stark where the government can imprison the superheroes who aren't willing to abide by the new laws.
Where does this yellow blast come from that shoots down War Machine? Maybe he was accidentally shot down by Vision, who is on Stark's Team. Or maybe it is Baron Zemo, who we don't see in the trailer. Zemo does have magical yellow stones in the comic. What do you think?
I just liked this shot of Cap's shield flying back at him.
Who is locked in that yellow lit compartment in the background? Is it Vision?
Black Panther gets shot up a lot, but it doesn't phase him in the slightest.
Remember Scarlet Witch's power came from the same power stone that brought Vision to life, so as you can see, she can use her powers against him.
I couldn't help but laugh at this scene above with Hawkeye. When you go frame by frame on the shot, you will notice the bow he's shooting has absolutely no tension on it. There is no force pushing that arrow forward!
And for me, that's the money shot! I can't wait to see more Spider-Man and how he fits into the story. This is going to be so great!
