Funny 45-Second Clip from GROWN UPS - Sandler, Rock, Spade & James

Here's a short but sweet clip Columbia Pictures just released from the new Adam Sandler comedy, Grown Ups -- from director Dennis Dugan (Big Daddy, Happy Gilmore).

The film stars Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schneider, and Kevin James as five friends and former teammates who reunite years later to honor the passing of their childhood basketball coach (Blake Clark). With their wives (Salma Hayek, Maria Bello) and kids in tow, they spend the Fourth of July holiday weekend together at the lake house where they celebrated their championship years earlier. Picking up where they left off, they discover why growing older doesn’t mean growing up.

Sandler penned the screenplay with his SNL scribes and frequent collaborators Tim Herlihy and Fred Wolf.

The clip starts off pretty broad, but has a very nice payoff. From the pic above, and the clip below, it looks like there'll be plenty of scenes of these friends just sitting around reminiscing -- which probably had the comedy vets riffing it for takes and takes.

Grown Ups hits theaters June 25th.
