New Story Details on next RIDDICK Movie

I've enjoyed the films based on the Riddick character played by Vin Diesel. Pitch Black was definitely the best one, and I was very happy to hear that the next film in the franchise being developed is going to be closer to the tone of Pitch Black. The movie is getting closer and closer to going into production, and it sounds like it is going to be a pretty fun flick. 

In a recent article over at THR there are a few little details that are revealed about the film that we haven't really heard before. On top of the story line going back to the basics, the new script features Riddick left for dead on a barren alien planet, dealing with "trisons" (three-legged bisons) and "mud demons." He must then contend with two squads of bounty hunters, one of which ride rockets called jetcycles.

This definitely takes a step back into a smaller type film. It actually sounds a lot like Sandy Collora's most recent film Hunter Prey, but with a much bigger budget.
