Colin Hanks joins cast of MY MOTHER'S CURSE

Colin Hanks has joined the cast of My Mother's Curse. Anne Fletcher (The Proposal) is set to direct this road movie which stars Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand.  The film just began shooting for Paramount and Skydance Productions.

Dan Fogelman (Cars) wrote the dramedy, which follows "an inventor (Rogen) who invites his overbearing mother (Streisand) on a cross-country trip as he tries to sell his new product while also reuniting her with a lost love."Hanks has signed on to play the husband to the already cast Yvonne Strahovski, Rogen's "high school sweetheart in the pic to whom he once proposed to. Hanks and Strahovski let Rogen and Streisand crash in their house after the son and mother get caught in a blizzard."

Last week we reported that Hanks has joined the cast of season six of Dexter. The show begins shooting in June for Showtime.  will see him on every episode of next season's Dexter, the popular serial killer show on Showtime. Production on that begins in June.

Hanks is a great actor and I am interested in seeing him in this mix of comedy and drama. What are your thoughts on this news?
