BOND 23 release date annnounced
The long awaited James Bond 23 has an official release date thanks to MGM and Sony Picturres. Ann announcement was made by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions, with Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum, Co-Chairmen and Chief Executive Officers of MGM. Production is slated to beinng in late 2011 for a worldwide release on November 9, 2012. The film arrives two weeks earlier on October 26 in the UK and Ireland.
Daniel Craig is set to return as Bond in the film being directed by Sam Mendes from a screenplay written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan. The film will be produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. No other casting confirmations were made today, but Judi Dench is expected to reprise her role. Earlier we reported that Javier Bardem had been offered the lead villain role. With The Dark Tower’s production possibly delayed he may be able to sign on. Ralph Fiennes was also offered another major role in the film, but no official confirmation has been made. Hopefully there will be further confirmation about this casting soon.
