Vince Vaughn in talks to join Ben Stiller in NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH

Vince Vaughn is in talks to join Ben Stiller in Neighborhood Watch, THR reports. The sci-fi comedy has been in development for a long time at Fox and 21 Laps. Earlier we reported that Akiva Schaffer was set to direct the film. The story is about "a suburban "neighborhood watch" group that serves as a front for dads to get some male-bonding time away from their families. The group finds itself in over its head when it uncovers a plot to destroy the world." Stiller would play one of the dads. The most recent draft of the script was penned by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg,

Vaughn and Stiller have worked together a number of times. They have starred together in Starsky & Hutch, Anchorman and Zoolander. Their biggest hit together was Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, which grossed over $114 million domestically in 2004.
Lately I have not been a fan of Vaughn's work, but this sounds like a great fit for him. I loved Dodgeball, and think that the tow work well together. It will be interesting to see how the sci-fi and the comedy mix. What are your thoughts on this news?
