Spike Lee reprising DO THE RIGHT THING role for RED HOOK SUMMER
Recently we reported that Spike Lee might be directing the Oldboy remake, but it looks like audiences will see a new original film from the director. Lee tweeted this morning that he was on the way to the first day of shooting for “the new Spike Lee joint." News has surfaced that the film is titled Red Hook Summer, and has Lee set to reprise the role of Mookie from Do The Right Thing.

Red Hook Summer is about an "adult from Atlanta who comes and spends the summer in Red Hook section of Brooklyn, NY." Not muh else is known about the story details at this time.
