Movie Poster for STRAW DOGS gets a little Redesign

A new redesigned poster has been released for Rod Lurie's Straw Dogs which is a remake of the classic 1971 film. There isn't much new about the new poster other than now it's all in black and white, and there is a bit more detail in the broken glasses. To see the first poster Click Here. The film stars James Marsden, Kate Bosworth, Alexander Skarsgård, Walton Goggins and Drew Powell.

Here's the Synopsis for the movie:

David and Amy Sumner, a Hollywood screenwriter and his actress wife, return to her small hometown in the deep South to prepare the family home for sale after her father's death. Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, including Amy's ex-boyfriend Charlie, leading to a violent confrontation. 

Straw Dogs is set to be released on September 16th 2010. If you haven't seen the trailer yet check it out HERE. I loved the original film, and I hope this lives up to what was done in that. I think it's going to be hard to match, but we'll see. This is a great story. What are your thoughts on the film?
