A Child Ballerina Vampire Is Out for Blood in Red-Band Trailer for ABIGAIL From the Directors of READY OR NOT
Here’s a wild trailer for a new horror movie that looks like a ton of fun! It’s titled Abigal and it centers on a 12-year-old ballerina who also happens to be a vampire, and she is out for blood. I’m excited about this movie! It looks like a great horror flick with some amusing comedy elements!
The movie comes from Radio Silence, the directing team of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett behind films such as Ready or Not, Scream and last year’s Scream VI. The movie is described as “a brash, blood-thirsty new vision of the vampire flick.”
In the film, “After a group of would-be criminals kidnap the 12-year-old ballerina daughter of a powerful underworld figure, all they have to do to collect a $50 million ransom is watch the girl overnight. In an isolated mansion, the captors start to dwindle, one by one, and they discover, to their mounting horror, that they’re locked inside with no normal little girl.”
The movie also comes with a great cast which includes Melissa Barrera (Scream franchise, In the Heights), Dan Stevens (Gaslit, Legion), Kathryn Newton (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Freaky), William Catlett (Black Lightning, True Story), Kevin Durand (Resident Evil: Retribution, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and Angus Cloud (Euphoria, North Hollywood). Alisha Weir (Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, Darklands) takes on the role of Abigail.
The movie is set to hit theaters on April 19th, 2024. Enjoy the trailer!
