A Lifeguard Character Being Introduced in STRANGER THINGS Season 3 Will Play a Key Role in the Story
There's a new lifeguard character coming to Hawkins in the upcoming third episode of Stranger Things Season 3. According to Deadline, the character will be played by Hater’s Back Off star Francesca Reale and she will play a major role in this next chapter of the story.
The character's name is Heather and she's described as "a popular lifeguard at the Hawkins Community Pool who becomes the centerpiece of a dark mystery." We don't have any other information on her, but maybe one of the boys will end up having a crush on her.
We don't really have any major plot details, but here's what we do know. Executive producer Shawn Levy previously revealed that the third season would take place one year after the second season, so that would set it during the summer of 1985. He went on to talk about the relationships of the teen characters.
When the story picks up Eleven (Millie Bobbie Brown) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard) will be a couple as will Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Max (Sadie Sink). He also said that Steve Harrington will have a bigger role in the story this time around and that Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg's film Back to the Future will be a reference in the upcoming season.
The rest of the cast includes Stranger Things Season 3 stars Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Dacre Montgomery as Billy, Jake Busey as Bruce and Cary Elwes as Mayor Kline.
