A List of New Funko Pop Figures Has Been Released, Which May Have Spoiled Who the Villain Will Be in Marvel's ETERNALS

Fans are aware by now that toys are made for big movies and series before the movies and series typically come out so that they will be ready to hit the shelves as soon as people have seen whatever it is they are associated with. Sometimes a project doesn’t want toys made in advance (The Mandalorian), because they don’t want anything leaked, or the studio doesn’t realize how big a hit the movie is they have on their hands, so they don’t make enough merchandise (Frozen), but then fans are frustrated because they can’t get their hands on a Baby Yoda or Elsa doll.

Anyhow, like I said, the normal practice is to create the merchandise in advance. It’s what the fans want! But it is risky, because it does create the possibility that aspects of the movie could get spoiled for fans before they’re ready. But if you’re down for a possible spoiler for Marvel’s upcoming Eternals, then read on.

In a recent tweet from Pop O’Clock - Funko Pop News, the company released a list of Funko Pop figures that are set to be released soon. In the section that lists Marvel’s Eternals characters, the villain Kro from the comics is mentioned. So this could very well mean that this will be the villain the Eternals team up against. One of them, at least.

The film’s details have been kept pretty under wraps, but here’s the synopsis that was recently released for the movie:

Marvel Studios' The Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind's most ancient enemy, The Deviants.

The film is being directed by Chloé Zhao, and it stars Angelina Jolie as Thena, Gemma Chan as Sersi, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Richard Madden as Icarus, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, and Kit Harrington as an archeologist named Dane Whitman.

Eternals hits theaters on November 6th, 2020. What do you think of the Eternals facing off with Kro in the film?
