A Twisted R-Rated Take on Pinocchio Has been Announced with PINOCCHIO: UNSTRUNG
The filmmakers behind Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey are expanding their twisted R-rated fairytale horror universe with a new project titled Pinocchio: Unstrung. The film joins the previously announced Bambi: The Reckoning and Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare. There’s also the sequel to Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.
These films are being produced by Jagged Edge Productions and Bloody Disgusting has shared a first-look tease with the art above and the title card below.
The producers say: “Unannounced characters from the universe will be revealed in sketch drawings in the closing credits of Pooh 2 so keep an eye out!”
The director and cast of the film will be announced in the near future, and Pinocchio: Unstrung will go into production this summer with a theatrical release planned at this time for late 2024.
