Action-Packed Clip From RICK AND MORTY: THE ANIME Sees Space Beth in a Battle
Adult Swim has released a new clip for its upcoming Rick and Morty spinoff animated series Rick and Morty: The Anime. This clip from Toonami is action-packed, and it brings Rick face to face with a special version of himself, before the footage cuts to Space Beth kicking some ass and fighting Tammy.
The series was directed by Takashi Sano, and when talking about it, he said: “What I’ve tried to accomplish with these 10 episodes is to take all my favorite parts of watching Rick and Morty, compress the down to extract their essence, and then add a unique Japanese twist. I’d like you to enjoy Rick and Morty’s adventures as they are wisked through time and space, tangled up in all sorts of chaos.”
He added: "The multiverse-straddling exploits of Rick and the gang pose challenges to the family bond, but they always rise to the occasion. It's such a life-affirming sight, and Jerry is no exception. I am honored to have been given an opportunity to tell a new story about this amazing family. I hope you enjoy their adventures!"
Rick and Morty: The Anime is coming this year in 2024. While we won’t be seeing Rick and Morty Season 8 this year, at least we’re getting this!
