Adam McKay's Next Film Project Will Be Another Climate Change-Related Movie

Adam McKay’s next film was supposed to be a film for Netflix titled Average Height, Average Build, but that movie is no longer moving forward. Instead, the filmmaker is planning on making another climate change-inspired movie.

McKay has been very outspoken about climate change, and in 2021 his Netflix movie Don’t Look Up was a commentary on the subject matter. There are no details to share regarding the story or the cast, but if you enjoy the films that McKay makes, it might be something you’ll want to check out.

As for Average Height, Average Build, this was a big film that would’ve starred Robert Pattinson, Amy Adams and Robert Downey Jr. The story would’ve followed Pattinson playing “a serial killer who enlists a lobbyist (Adams) to change laws that will allow him to get away with murder more easily. Downey was to play a retired cop who won’t give up on the murders, and the killer tries to prevent him from dogging his trail now that he’s hung up his gun. The serial killer turns himself into a cause celebre, a Mr. Smith Goes to Washington figure shielding his true motives.”

I was actually looking forward to that movie, so it’s a shame that it was scrapped.
