Adam Savage Takes a Tour of the Farmhouse Set of GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE
Adam Savage had the awesome opportunity to check out the sets and the props that are being used in director Jason Reitman’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife. He previously shared a video of him taking a joy ride in the Ecto-1, and now he has a new video where he is taking a tour through the farmhouse set of the film.
While on location of the Ghostbusters: Afterlife set, Adam Savage witnessed firsthand the breathtaking sets built by the production team to immerse the characters in the Ghostbusters universe. Set dresser Alex Smith gives Adam a tour of the detailed interior of the fully fleshed out farmhouse set, showing how the team find and fabricate every fitting and furnishing that goes into making a location feel real and lived in!
Damn this would have been such a cool set to visit!
I had the opportunity to watch Ghostbusters: Afterlife at CinemaCon, and I had a blast watching itI You can watch our reaction video for the film here.
In the film, Egon Spangler’s family moves to a small town where they learn about their grandfather’s legacy and that he used to catch ghosts for a living. I love the story of a couple of kids slowly discovering something incredible about their grandpa and his legacy.
The synopsis for the next chapter in the Ghostbusters universe reads, “A single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.”
The film was directed by Jason Reitman from a script he wrote with Gil Kenan. The movie stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, and Paul Rudd. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Sigourney Weaver are also said to be returning.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife will be released in theaters on November 19th, 2021.
