Alley Fight Clip From Netflix's DEVIL MAY CRY Anime Series
Netflix has released the first clip for its upcoming anime series adaptation of Devil May Cry. It’s clled “Alley Fight,” and it centers on thirst trap demon-hunter for hire, Dante (Johnny Yong Bosch), showing off his badass skills in the areas of demon-hunting and quippy one-liners.
In this animated adaptation, “Sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck.”
The project is being developed by Capcom and producer Adi Shankar (Castlevania).
It was previously revealed the the first season would consist of eight episodes. Devil May Cry is set to span multiple seasons with its stories and will feature several fan-favorites, including Lady and Vergil.
Hiroyuki Kobayashi, a producer on the original video game is also a part of the development team on the series.
Devil May Cry is now streaming on Netflix.
