Amusing Trailer for THE FULL MONTY Sequel Series Sees the Whole Gang Back Together!

Last year it was announced that the classic 1997 British underdog comedy movie The Full Monty would be getting a limited TV sequel series, and today, the first trailer for that series has been released! The show is set up at Hulu and 25 years later, the original cast of the film is back reprising their roles!

That cast includes Robert Carlyle, Mark Addy, Lesley Sharp, Hugo Speer, Paul Barber, Steve Huison, Wim Snape, and Tom Wilkinson. We now get to see what this colorful cast of characters are doing with their lives all these years later! As you might imagine, they aren’t stripping anymore.

It’s going to be fun to catch up with these characters and the series looks like it will deliver some good laughs as they navigate the modern world in the same town that they’ve lived in most of their lives.

The synopsis reads: “The Full Monty gang is back after 25 years, swapping their stage costumes for dognapping, racing pigeons and one very unconventional hostage situation. Gaz might be older but he's no wiser, and best mate Dave refuses to get sucked into any more of his antics. But when tragedy strikes, the whole Monty gang must pull together for a common purpose: to honor an old friend.”

The Full Monty will debut all episodes on Hulu starting on June 14, 2023. Watch the trailer and let us know if you’re going to watch this show!
