Amy Adams Will Form a Rock Band of Moms in the New Comedy Film LAZY SUSAN
While we wait for Amy Adam’s dark comedy Nightbitch to be released, she has just closed a deal to star in and produce a new comedy film titled Lazy Susans, which is set up at 20th Century Studios.
The movie is about a group of moms who form a rock band. The movie is inspired by the story of The Lazy Susans, “a real group out of Boston, who assembled amid the Covid pandemic.”
Annie Mumolo (Bridesmaids) and Stan Chervin (Moneyball) are writing the script for the film and it will be produced by Vivek Tiwary and Jack Leslie. They optioned the rights to the Boston Magazine article “For Those Moms About to Rock.”
This seems like it could be a really fun flick! There’s currently no director attached.
