Amy Jo Johnson Shares Brief Comment About Not Being in MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS: ONCE & ALWAYS 30th Anniversary Special
2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the Power Rangers franchise. One celebration is a special called Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always. This special is bringing back some classic cast members like David Yost, Walter Emanuel Jones, and Catherine Sutherland to name a few. One cast member that fans are disappointed to not see returning is Amy Jo Johnson as Kimberly Hart. There had been some talk over the past few years of Yost and Johnson teaming up for a Power Rangers project and I think many fans thought this would be one of those moments, but alas it isn’t. Taking to social media, Johnson shared the following:
It’s a short little explanation and it is made clear that Johnson is not against returning to Power Rangers. It sounds to me like a deal just couldn’t be struck this time. I think it’s great that Johnson is supporting her old castmates though and seems to be excited like many of us fans. I am very intrigued though at her little tease about “other fun stuff.” I wonder what it could be. Do you have any thoughts?
