An Ex-Con Must Break The Law To Save His Mom in Trailer For DEATH IN TEXAS with Bruce Dern and Stephen Lang
Vertical Entertainment has released a trailer for an upcoming crime thriller titled Death in Texas. The movie comes from filmmaker Scott Windhauser and the story follows an ex-con, fresh out of prison, who finds himself in a situation where he has to break the law again to help save his mom’s life.
In the film, “Billy Walker (Ronnie Gene Blevins) is finally released from prison after serving a seven-year sentence for manslaughter, only to find out that the only person who stuck by him during the entire ordeal, his mother (Lara Flynn Boyle), is now dying of liver failure. After visiting her doctor, Billy learns that he must break a few more laws in order to get his mother to the top of the transplant list in order to save her life.”
The film also stars Bruce Dern in the role of a villainous crime boss, Stephen Lang, John Ashton, and William Shockley. This looks like a decent-looking western crime thriller worth checking out and it’s filled with some interesting characters.
Death in Texas will be released direct-to-VOD on June 4th.
