Armie Hammer Joins Kenneth Branagh's DEATH ON THE NILE
Armie Hammer has been set as one of the lead male roles in director Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile, which is the follow-up to last year’s Agatha Christie adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express.
Hammer will join the previously cast Gal Gadot and Branagh, who is reprising his role of detective Hercule Poirot. It’s safe to say that this is just the start of what will be an impressive ensemble cast just like the first film.
Armie Hammer is a decent actor that has made both good and bad films in his career. This seems like a project that he’ll fit right in with, though.
Death on the Nile was published in 1937, and the story follows "Poirot investigating a murder during a luxurious cruise on the Nile River that he just happens to be on. But just as he identifies a motley collection of would-be killers, several of the suspects also meet their demise, which only deepens the mystery.”
Death on the Nile is set to be released on December 20, 2019.
