ATOMIC BLONDE 2 Is Reportedly in Early Development at Netflix

In 2017, Charlize Theron took the world by storm as Lorraine Broughton in Atomic Blonde. The film was based on the graphic novel The Coldest City by Antony Johnston, and many really enjoyed the film. There have been talks of a sequel for a while now, but it looks like there may be an update.

Over at Discussing Film, they’ve learned that Atomic Blonde 2 is reportedly in early development at Netflix. Theron is expected to reprise her role as well as serve as producer alongside Beth Kono and Kelly McCormack.

The report states that there’s no screenwriter currently attached, and there’s no word of who the director would be. I would just as soon assume that David Leitch is returning since he talked about the sequel several months ago, but you never know. Are you excited at the prospect of Atomic Blonde 2?
