AVENGERS: ENDGAME Directors Want to See Doctor Doom and Kraven the Hunter Join the MCU

After Avengers: Endgame, directors Joe and Anthony Russo are going to take a break from Marvel to direct some other projects that they’ve been lining up. But when they do come back to the fold to hopefully start prepping for Secret Wars, there are other Marvel characters that they hope to see and play with in the MCU.

While talking about SyFy, the directors were asked which character they hoped se see arrive in the MCU and Joe Russo replied with:

"I mean, Kraven, because I love that storyline. I think that Spider-Man, Kraven arc would be pretty amazing to see. The tone of that would be pretty cool."

He then went on to mention Doctor Doom, saying:

“I just love the sort of Shakespearean mythology behind him as a character. He’s another fascinating character… that I think you could shade him in complex ways”

Sony Pictures reportedly plans on making a solo movie featuring Kraven, but we don’t know for sure if that’s going to happen or if that will even involve Spider-Man.

As for Doctor Doom, of course he and the Fantastic Four would have to be a part of the Secret Wars film that they are hoping to make one day.

I’m a big fan of these characters as well, and I hope that one day we will see them enter the MCU and that the characters will be handled in the right way.
