AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Writers Tease Inclusion of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

Over the past few months, it’s been teased that the Guardians of the Galaxy would be included in Joe and Anthony Russo’s Avengers: Infinity War. There’s been talk of Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon showing up in the film recently, but it seems the Infinity War screenwriters have pretty much just confirmed the involvement of Guardians of the Galaxy in the two films.

Screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely recently did a live interview with Nerdist on Facebook, and during that interview they were asked if the Guardians would crossover with Infinity War. This was their reply:

“Let’s put it this way: you know who owns that [Infinity] Gauntlet, right? And you know who’s in another movie, and his kids are in that movie… you do the math!”

The math adds up, and it seems that after everything we’ve heard about the teases surrounding the characters that will be involved, it’s pretty clear to me that they have included several members of the Guardians team in the film. Hell, maybe there’s a chance that we’ll even see Nebula make an appearance!

I absolutely love the thought of seeing the heroes from Guardians of the Galaxy fighting alongside and interacting with all of our favorite characters from The Avengers. I can’t wait to see how the Russo Bros. play with this awesomeness and handle these characters. I can't help but think it's gonna be a blast!
