Bad Bunny Reacts Strangely to the Mention of His Dead Marvel Movie EL MUERTO
Actor, musician and professional wrestler Bad Bunny, aka Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, was pretty pumped up a year ago when it was announced that he was taking on the role of Marvel/Sony superhero El Muerto. The character is an enigmatic wrestler who comes from a line of Luchadores, all empowered by a mystical mask.
Bad Bunny was stoked to take on the role, but a few months ago, Sony decided to pull the project. Then it was reported that the studio is moving forward on the film without the star. Things have been quiet for the last few months, but Bad Bunny is now speaking out about the loss, sort of.
When asked in a recent Vanity Fair interview what happened with the role, he went quiet, and his publicist spoke up, saying, “Next question.” The actor then responded, “I don’t know what to say.” He called the issue “delicate,” and his publicist again interjected, “Obviously, it’s out.”
It’s obviously a touchy subject, and it’s too bad he doesn’t get to star in the film that he was so excited about.
Bad Bunny was previously in the film Bullet Train, and he co-stars in the biographical wrestling drama Cassandro, available on Amazon on September 22nd.
