BATGIRL Star Leslie Grace Offers a Cool New Behind the Scenes Look at the Canceled DC Film
Batgirl star Leslie Grace recently shared a new video on Instagram that looks back on her 2022. The video is loaded with more cool behind-the-scenes footage from the canceled DC movie. That footage includes several quick shots of Grace in two different Batgirl costumes.
One costume we’ve already seen in a promotional image and other photos from the set, but there’s a different costume that she was going to wear, and it’s a much more polished version of the suit. It looks like the kind of new suit that would be revealed near the end of the film. You can see the differences in the image above.
We also see a shot of Batgirl with the villain of the film Firefly, who was played by Brendan Fraser. It’s a pretty cool look for the character! Check out the video below:
The movie was being directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah from a script written by Christina Hodson, who previously wrote Bumblebee as well as DC’s Birds of Prey and The Flash. Kristin Burr, who recently worked on Cruella. The directors were pretty bummed out by the film being canceled and previously said:
"It was a traumatic experience. [El Arbi and I] went through all the emotions. At that time, it was pretty unprecedented, so it was like movie history, but in a crazy way. There was still a lot of work to be done but they just said it was financial decisions and so that’s that and the movie can never be released."
It’s a shame we’ll never get to see this movie!
