Behind-The-Scenes Making of Video From the Classic Christmas Film ELF

Here’s a great video that gives us an entertaining behind-the-scenes look at the making of the classic Christmas movie Elf.

The video features candid footage of director Jon Favreau, Will Ferrell, and more while shooting the movie and there’s no doubt fans will get a kick out of it! It also includes the cast and crew sitting down for interviews to talk about the movie.

I will warn you though, the video is two hours long! But, it’s a lot of fun! It covers all aspects of filmmaking including how all the sets were built and how the visual effects were pulled off.

Elf is a whimsical holiday comedy that has become a modern Christmas classic. Ferrell plays Buddy, a human raised by elves in the North Pole who discovers his true identity and travels to New York City to reconnect with his biological father, Walter Hobbs (James Caan).

Buddy’s childlike innocence and unrelenting holiday spirit clash hilariously with the cynical, fast-paced world of the city, and his earnest attempts to bond with his reluctant father create both comedic and heartfelt moments.

The movie perfectly encapsulates the joy, wonder, and spirit of the holiday season, and if you’re a fan, this video is worth, at least, skimming through.
