Black and White Version of LOGAN Coming to Theaters in May For One Day
A couple of months ago director James Mangold said that he was working on a black and white version of Logan. I figured it would be something included for fans on the DVD/Blu-ray, but according to Mangold the black and white version of the film will also get a theatrical release for one day and that day is May 16th.
I'm sure you remember that some of the promo images and videos that were released during the Logan marketing campaign were in black and white. All that stuff looked great, and I'm stoked that we will get to see the full film in that format.
This is a screening event not to be missed! Hopefully, I'll be able to get tickets! Here's the information that was revealed by Mangold on Twitter.
Suggestion. Hard core B&W loving LOGAN fans should not make any plans on the evening of May 16th.

@KarlAlden @Aldo7heApache Won't be on a TV. And the answer is no. To make a great B&W version of a film, the whole thing's gotta be regraded & timed shot by shot.

@Silver_Johto Afraid so.

@AlleynLemarr @KarlAlden @Aldo7heApache Yes, but it will be on big screens on the 16th.
