BLACK MIRROR Gets a New Featurette and a New Director (Spoiler Alert: It's Jodie Foster)

Charlie Brooker's twisted, brilliant series Black Mirror comes to Netflix for its third season tonight at midnight, and from what I've seen and heard so far, I'm expecting it to be just as excellent as what's come before. Today brings two new interesting things about the show: a new featurette (which you can see below), and the fact that Oscar winning actress Jodie Foster is going to direct an episode of the show's upcoming fourth season, and it will star actress Rosemarie DeWitt.

Yes, even though season three hasn't officially dropped yet, the showrunners are already developing season four. Foster seems like a cool choice, and having her direct is an extension of the work she's already done with Netflix: she's already helmed an episode of House of Cards and two episodes of Orange is the New Black. Her latest movie, Money Monster, didn't really make much of a splash (despite its A-list cast), so maybe she's better off utilizing her skills behind the camera in the television format instead of the theatrical one.

You're about to discover that you don't know where the hell you are. Six new stories from Charlie Brooker come to Netflix Friday, October 21.
