Bruce Campbell Reveals EVIL DEAD 4 Title and It Will Be Directed by Lee Cronin

We’ve known for some time that Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell were developing a new Evil Dead film as producers, and now we have some cool new information to share with you!

In a recent interview with Empire, Campbell revealed that the title of the film will be Evil Dead Now, and that it will be written and directed by Lee Cronin. The actor said:

“We’re just getting off the phone with Lee Cronin, who is writing and directing the next Evil Dead. It’s called Evil Dead Now. Sam handpicked Lee – he did a cool movie called The Hole In The Ground. We’re going to get that sucker out as soon as practical.”

The Hole in The Ground was a solid horror movie, so I’m happy to see that Cronin is the person that Raimi chose to helm the next movie. I’m excited to see what they have in store for this! When talking about the future of the franchise and the Evil Dead films that are coming, Campbell went on to say:

“From this point forward, they kind of have to stand on their own. Which is fine. And liberating. You could have different heroes, different heroines in this case. This one’s gonna be a little more dynamic. We jut want to keep the series current. And the mantra, really, is that our heroes and heroines are just regular people. That’s what we’re going to continue.”

Campbell has already confirmed that there are multiple Evil Dead films in the works. As a longtime fan of this horror franchise, I can’t wait to see what comes of this next wave of Evil Dead greatness! As long as the stories are good and the characters are fun, I’ll show up to watch these movies!
