Brutal Red-Band Trailer for SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT Promises a Blood-Soaked Holiday Slay Ride

The holidays are getting a whole lot gorier this year with the the modern remake of the horror cult classic Silent Night, Deadly Night and we have a brutal new red-band trailer for you to watch.

Studiocanal has unleashed a fresh look at this twisted Christmas story, and it’s every bit as violent, unhinged, and gleefully disturbing as fans could hope for.

“In 1984, one film shocked audiences, was banned from theaters, and traumatized a generation. From the studio that brought you Terrifier 3, comes a new, and unrated, vision of the cult classic. This Christmas, spread the holiday fear.”

The film follows Billy, a man forever haunted by the horrific memory of his parents’ murder at the hands of a killer dressed as Santa Claus. Years later, the trauma curdles into something darker, and Billy dons the red suit himself—only this time, he’s the one doling out punishment.

The official synopsis reads: “A reimagining of the controversial 1984 cult horror classic (directed by Charles E. Sellier Jr.). When Billy witnesses his parents’ grisly murder on Christmas Eve at the hands of Santa, it ignites a lifelong mission to spread holiday fear.

“Every Christmas, he dons the jolly red suit and delivers a blood-soaked massacre to feed his twisted sense of justice. This Christmas Eve, Billy wants to know: ‘Have you been naughty?’”

Written and directed by Mike P. Nelson, this new version of Silent Night, Deadly Night looks like it’s going all-in on the brutality. Nelson, who previously helmed The Domestics and the Wrong Turn reboot, seems determined to turn up the carnage while keeping the grim holiday spirit intact.

The film stars Rohan Campbell, Ruby Modine, Mark Acheson, David Lawrence Brown, and David Tomlinson.

The latest trailer is soaked in blood, filled with twisted holiday imagery, and backed by an ominous Christmas tune that turns cheer into pure dread.

Cineverse will release Silent Night, Deadly Night in select theaters starting December 12th, 2025. So, if you’ve been naughty this year, you might just find yourself on Billy’s list.
