About a month ago, we reported that Jurassic World: Dominion was the first big film getting back to work after the shutdowns this spring. With a movie set this big, the film studio made it clear that they would only be able to resume in a pandemic with a lot of protocols in place to make the set a safe place for the cast and crew. The safety measures put in place included masks for the crew, temperature checks, and on-sight medical staff, as well as many other little things to make it a safer environment.

Now that they have gotten back to work, a couple of the actors have talked about what it’s like to be back on set. Jeff Goldblum talked to ET about the safety protocol book that was given to the cast and crew upon arrival, saying:

“They gave us 109 pages. They invested all their heart and soul, and a lot of money, into making sure that we’re safe. I won’t bore you with the details, but we’re all going to be quarantined in a kind of a bubble, all the crew and all the cast. And testing and everything. We know it’s a risky time, but we feel it’s good.”

And Bryce Dallas Howard tweeted about what it’s been like to get back to doing stunts:

But of course it’s not all bruises and hard work. This is a pretty fun set to be a part of, and working alongside Chris Pratt is a total blast:

I’m glad they are back to work, because I can’t wait to see this movie! With the original actors, Goldblum, Laura Dern and Sam Neill, coming back, it is probably my most anticipated Jurassic sequel ever. Are you super excited for this movie?

Jurassic World: Dominion is set to hit theaters on June 11, 2021.
