Cameron Diaz in Talks To Star Alongside Keanu Reeves in Director Jonah Hill's Dark Comedy OUTCOME
Cameron Diaz is in negotiations to star alongside Keanu Reeves in director Jonah Hill’s upcoming film Outcome. The movie is a dark comedy that was picked up by Apple Original Films. Hill will not only direct, but he will also star in the film.
The story follows Reef (Reeves), “a damaged Hollywood star who must dive into the dark depths of his past to confront his demons and make amends after he is extorted with a mysterious video clip.”
This sounds like a very different kind of movie for everyone involved and I’m curious to see how it turns out. The movie was co-written by Hill and Ezra Woods.
As you know, Diaz took a long break from acting and is making a strong return. She last appeared in the 2014 remake of Annie, and will next appear in the Netflix action comedy Back in Action starring opposite Jamie Foxx later this year, and Outcome will mark another role for her. It’s great to see her get back into acting after all these years. She made some great films over the course of her career.
