CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD Rumored Post-Credits Scene Details

Marvel Studios’ next big MCU movie is Captain America: Brave New World, and fans have been curious about how the story will play out and if the film will actually be good.

As you know, the movie has had some disappointing test screenings, and the film recently went through another round of reshoots. I hope the movie is good! The trailers that have been released certainly make it look good!

Anyway, we have some new details to share with you regarding the run time and the post credits scene. These details come from inside scooper Daniel Richtman.

The movie is said to clock in at 2 hours and 4 minutes. It was also confirmed that there will only be one mid-credits scene, and it was leaked on Reddit a couple months ago, but that’s seemingly been confirmed.

SPOILERS AHEAD

The post credits scene will set up some kind of World War Hulks-like event, with President Ross (Harrison Ford) sent to the Raft after his Red Hulk rampage towards the end of the movie.

The Leader (Tim Blake Nelson) is also imprisoned in the floating facility, and it strongly hints that Amadeus Cho has also been given the Hulk serum.

The villain's goal is seemingly to create an army of Hulked-up super-soldiers, but we don’t know exactly what his motivations are.

In the film, “After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident.

“He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.”

When previously talking about the film, Kevin Feige said he’s looking to capture the same magic that they delivered in Captain America: The Winter Solider by leaning into the whole political thriller aspect of the story.

The film is directed by Julius Onah and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore.

Captain America: Brave New World opens in U.S. theaters on February 14, 2025.
