Chadwick Boseman Set to Receive His Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Next year, the late actor Chadwick Boseman is set to receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Best known for playing Black Panther in the MCU, Boseman also starred in 42, Marshall, and Da 5 Bloods, and he received a posthumous Oscar nomination for his performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. The actor was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame's class of 2024 Monday, as part of the motion pictures category.

Boseman died of colon cancer in 2020, at the age of 43. The iconic actor made a global impact by bringing Black Panther’s King T’Challa to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and playing Black icons Jackie Robinson and James Brown on the silver screen.

Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, Andre Romell Young ("Dr. Dre"), Eugene Levy, Kerry Washington, Gwen Stefani and Chris Pine are also part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame's 2024 class.
