Channing Tatum's Gambit in DEADPOOL 3 Rumor Seemingly Confirmed by Stunt Actor

There have been a lot of rumors floating around about the ever-growing cast of Deadpool 3. We know Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and two variants of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine will appear, as well as Jennifer Garner, who will return as Elektra from the 2003 movie Daredevil. It was previously rumored that Channing Tatum would finally get to play his long-awaited superhero character Gambit in this movie, years after his Gambit film had been shut down, but it looks like that might actually be a reality.

According to ComicBookMovie, Deadpool 3’s full cast and crew IMDb page was recently updated and now lists Joel Adrian as a stunt double for Channing Tatum in the movie. Marvel has not confirmed Tatum’s involvement in Deadpool 3 as of now, however, this change in IMDb credit comes after insider @MyTimeToShine reported through Instagram that Tatum had filmed a cameo as Gambit for the movie.

So it looks like all signs are pointing to us seeing Tatum in the role!

Other actors rumored to appear in the movie include Brian Cox as William Striker, Halle Berry as Storm, Owen Wilson as Mobius, Famke Jensen as Jean Grey, Lewis Tan as Shatterstar, Ben Affleck as Daredevil, Taylor Swift as Dazzler, Taron Edgerton as a different Wolverine, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Dafne Keen as Laura Howlett aka X23, Rebecca Romijn as Raven, Julian McMahon as Doctor Doom, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, James Marsden as play Cyclops, and Ian McKellen as Magneto.

I guess we will just have to wait and see how it all turns out! Deadpool 3 is set to hit theaters on May 3, 2024.
