Channing Tatum's ROOFMAN Gets a Toys "R" Us Featurette

Paramount has released a featurette for Channing Tatum‘s upcoming true crime film, Roofman. The film is based on the true story of a criminal who is hiding out and living in a Toys “R” Us.

The promo video offers a behind-the-scenes look at what went into creating a full Toys "R" Us store to shoot the film in. The creative team made sure to get every little detail down, and It’s pretty cool that they managed to pull if off.

Roofman follows Jeffrey Manchester (Tatum), “a former Army Ranger and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald’s restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname: Roofman.

“After escaping prison, he secretly lives inside a Toys “R” Us for six months, surviving undetected while planning his next move. But when he falls for Leigh (Kirsten Dunst), a divorced mom drawn to his undeniable charm, his double life begins to unravel, setting off a compelling and suspenseful game of cat and mouse as his past closes in.”

The cast also includes Peter Dinklage, Ben Mendelsohn, LaKeith Stanfield, Juno Temple, Melonie Diaz, Uzo Aduba, Lily Collias and Jimmy O. Yang.

The movie was directed by Derek Cianfrance from the script he wrote with Kirk Gunn. This looks like a fun movie that tells wild an entertaining story!

Roofman is set to release in theaters on October 10.
