Fans were really hoping to see Tatum suit up at as the Ragin’ Cagin’ Gambit in the MCU after appearing in Deadpool & Wolverine, and it looks like we are getting are wish. Maybe this will lead to the solo film that Tatum was trying to get off the ground for years.
As for Marsden’s casting, he joins other original X-Men stars Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, and Alan Cummin as Nightcrawlerg. It’s going to be so cool to see these characters back together again.
When previously asked for his thoughts on whether he'd be open to wearing Cyclops's classic blue and yellow suit, he said:
"It's so cool to see these characters up on screen again. I know there's a lot of chatter out there. I don't really know anything but it was a great thing to be part of and obviously, always a fun thing to don that suit. We'll see."
Well, he’s officially on board now, and it will be a lot of fun to see these two characters back in action!
