Charlie Cox Teases Plans For Daredevil's Future in the MCU
When Charlie Cox showed up as Matt Murdock a.k.a. Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home, we all knew that it wasn’t the last we’ve seen of him. There were a few years where fans weren’t sure what the future of Daredevil was, but luckily they made the right decision to keep Cox on board and finally incorporate him into the MCU.
We don’t know what the future holds for the character, but Cox recently teased that there will be something else. In an interview with RadioTimes, the actor shared: "I know something. I don't know much, but I know there will be something else."
When previously talking about the return of Daredevil, Cox said: "Look, I don't have any idea what anyone's plans are at this stage, but I presume there's more for us to do. I know a little bit — not a huge amount — but a little bit. I am imagining, I am hoping, that our worlds will collide again because the stuff we've done in the past was tremendous fun to do, and he's such an incredible actor. We have to start every conversation with, 'What do you know?' because you have to be careful. It's really exciting."
He goes on to say in another interview that he’s excited to be back in the role and he hopes that his opportunity to play this character never ends: "To be asked to come back and be involved in any capacity is absolutely thrilling to me… I hope I get to do loads more for many years. I hope it never ends.”
There’s a lot of stuff to look forward to from Marvel, but I’m excited to see what they are planning for Daredevil.
